Remember how UNLV best Baylor a few years ago. Baylor tires to score instead of taking a knee, fumbles and UNLV picks up the fumble for the winning TD on the last play of the game.

SMU could have won by an intercepted pass returned for a TD, cover the onside kick, and a Hail Mary pass completion.

Unfortunately, the financial pressures on college football produces situation like last night. These "incidents" are happening all over the country.

What financial reason do you speak of? The only financial reason I could think of would be to beat the spread but the spread was 24 1/2. Going up by 21 wouldn't have done it. Maybe Leach is not very good at math. If beating us by 21 instead of 14 will vault them into national champioship consideration then we a truly in a mad mad world.

Continuing...

Looking at the TT boards last week most TT fans were predicing scores like 50-10, somewhere in that range. Some even in the 60s. They really thought they were going to walk all over us.

This is a wild guess but I would say that some TT fans lost some serious money Saturday, that is if they put their money where their mouth is. As arrogant as their posters are here I feel certain that they did. Makes my day to think of it. Go Lobos! Watch out for Leach. He's the modern day Buddy Ryan.

Go Lobos!

Thats exactly how the TCU faithful thought...I remember one score was 77-7 which I printed out and brought to the game just in case we won.

Go Lobos both New Mexico and my Longview Lobos!
