The game on Saturday was a new low for the inept coaching ability of Mike Cavan. SMU was embarrassed by a not so good Hawaii team. Hawaii didn't win because they had better players than SMU, not because they had some super secret plays on offence(they ran the same ones ALL game), Hawaii won because there coaches were better!
How many times has this happened under Cavan's control? How many games has SMU lost when SMU was clearly the better team? (Old Miss '97 and the list goes on) How many times has the SMU players had to endure the embarrassment of losing to a team they should beat?
Enough is enough. Cavan needs to go NOW! Lets face it folks...he is a crappy coach that had limited success with a 1AA school a long time ago. Cavans losing ways is a cancer to the team. Remove the cancer at all costs. The money is there for a new coach...Copeland needs to send a message to the players, coaches, and fans that losing at SMU isn't acceptable! FIRE CAVAN YESTERDAY
