Anyone know what the injury was that put him on the shelf last year?

He sure didn't show any lingering after-effects against NW. He looked extremely good.

He was named the CUSA Offensive Player of the Week today.

He tore his knee ligaments (most of them from what I remember) two years ago. Last year he seperated his shoulder, came back from that and then tore his groin muscle (which knocked him out for the rest of the year).

Jeez - maybe he should think about another occupation!
So he's talented AND tough.
He's due for a day off!

Or better yet an off day!!!

Good point - I'd rather he play and have a bunch of INTs/fumbles than actually take the day off.
He's a damn good QB, though - somehow I don't see that kind of a collapse, especially with Hassell waiting in the wings.

Speaking of Hassell - is he still dating the sister of an SMU player? Seems to me the sister needs to show a little family loyalty!
