Its unfair to the stangs to expect a win

TCU is one of the best teams we play. The Mustangs need to remember that there is no pressure to win this game. It would be a huge boost for the program and will help with attendance, but it is not essential for a good season. When we get could we will easily claim are all-time title vs. TCU so no one needs to worry about that right now. Let's focus on getting better. The reality is we are overmatched in this one. I'm not saying I predict an easy victory for TCU, but it would not surprise me. Let's hope for a close game and continued steady improvement by the Stangs. Don't let a loss break your heart again. We have to be patient with the youngest team in the NCAA.
I Agree

Agreed.....that is like starting a new fraternity chapter at SMU and thinking its gonna compete with the Phi Delt's for the top rushees, score lots of ladies, etc........

Do you mean that the Phi's are now getting the guys who would have normally been ATO's so they have finally reached number 1?.

Exactly how does one be an ATO "normally?" I always thought they were abberations of nature, like two-headed calves, democrats and Aggies...

Let's hope the Phi Delts push themselves away from the mirror and looking at their High School Yearbooks long enough to attend the game in Fort Worth.

Its very possible OP. ATO was no doubt a strong force and I'm sure PDT has capitalized in their absence.........however I don't seen any statues of ATO's in front of the stadium?

Back to the football question, yes there is a reason that TCU is favored by over 20. We are the underdog. Is it possible that we can win? I say yes but we must improve and things need to go our way. It would be a huge accomplishment to beat TCU this year. If it happens we should enjoy it for the accomplishment that it would be.

I am.
Michigan is my 5 star over an awful ND team. I also like South Caro, Wash St, Stanford, UT, Toledo, UCONN, and yes.....our beloved SMU Mustangs (I will take 23 points in a rivalry game, especially after the encouraging performance last weekend)
Who do you like?

......the emphasis should be getting another starting QB who is a Phi Delt since they usually are All-Americans or they win conference Championships. See Gil Johnson, Don Meredith, Mac White, Lance McIllhenney. That's where Rich Alum's rush updates have real relevance to producing a football dynasty here at SMU-not to mention the continuation of the Phi Delt dynasty.
