Silver linings?

Postby Casey » Sun Sep 12, 2004 2:17 pm

Overall, last night was a complete trainwreck. Made me want to drink all the way home (but as we know, that's illegal.)

I thought Wilton McCray was too small to be a college LB. I was wrong. He looked pretty good. (Anyone know how serious his injury is?)

Bobby Chase can catch, and his size and speed create mismatches. Throw to him.

Same deal, and more, with Ryan Kennedy. You just don't see guys his size who can run like he did. Looked like his hands are pretty solid, too. Coach Burns needs to make him a primary target.

Humphrey and Akinyemi - despite the numbers the frog WRs put up - are so much better than last year's CBs.

Speaking of which, where was the new guy, Brandon Jones? He looked good against TT. Did he even play last night?

Desmond Jones has all-conference written all over him. Next year, if not this year. He was one of the few who played pretty well last night.
