On the way back to Waco, I heard Coach Bennett on the post-game show saying Adami's going to have to miss part of the OSU game. What did he do? I noticed he wasn't playing, but I wasn't sure why.

He got in a fight on an extra point, and ejected. According to the announcers, if it is classified as a "fight" then he must sit out 1 game. Since it happened in the first half that means he could play in the 2nd half of the OSU game. They said if it was not designated as a fight that he possibly could play all the game next week. If you heard Bennett say he would be out for a portion, I assume it will be the 1/2 a game TCU 1/2 a game OSU scenerio.

Man! Didn't Adami learn anything from Coach B.??? If you're going to get in a fight, do it AFTER the game!

Didn't Adami also stand up for the team and hit or choke a professor? I seem to remember reading something about that in the DMN.

I seriously doubt he hit or choked a professor because he would have gotten kicked out of school for that. he probably just didn't let a professor slide on some of the comments made tease the guys on the team and said something back.

No, you read that on your favorite board - killerfrogs.com. He did confront a professor about not badmouthing the team constantly. Go home, froggy.

Right - he stood up to a professor. He's just like Coach B - he's tired of hearing it from people outside of the team. They're both leaders in every sense of the word. I'd want them on my side any day.
And the DMN said it wasn't a fight or a punch, he got his hand inside the facemask, which apparently is a major no-no. I'd be willing to bet it happens a lot more often than it's called, though.
I'm sorry he got tossed, and I'm sorry he'll miss part of the OSU game, but I love his heart and characted. Give me a team full of #14s any day.
