Leach making friends everywhere

Nice note in the DMN today. Apparently Gary Patterson got a little bent when Foy Munlin transferred to Alabama. He said that a year or two before, Shaud Williams had wanted to transfer from Tech to TCU, but Leach wouldn't release him to a Texas school, citing a school rule. Williams ended up going to play for Bama, and he played well. But when Munlin was allowed to transfer to SMU, apparently that hacked off Patterson. Hopefully he remembers it Saturday.

So Leach lets Foy transfer, but didn't let Shaud transfer to TCU (thanks, by the way!) His word's no good? What a surprise. He seems like such an honorable gentleman.
