Out for the year - OUCH.

That's awful. Coach Bennett said (in the DMN) that they're going to petition for a medical hardship to get him an extra year. Sure hope he gets it.

When heading into the season, I thought LB was going to be a position of strength. Reggie Carrington was lost for the year. Then Rico Harris got hurt (although not as bad, I hope). No D.D. Lee is out.

First of all, here's hoping D.D. and Reggie have a full recovery. Time for Zach Hall and Landon Dyer to get ready in a hurry - they're getting thrown in the deep end, and it's time to do some serious swimming.

This is a real shame. With guys like Avery Cleveland, Wilton McCray, Rico Harris (when he gets back) I think we're faster at LB. But the depth we thought we had is seriously thinned. LB joins OL as the top positions of need in recruiting now, in my mind. Todd Alexander is a good start, but it looks like we need a few more.
