Might as well enjoy it while we can...

Not that it's particularly meaningful at this point, but currently SMU is ranked 62 in average home attendance. Also #2 in %capacity. Only Miami oversells better than us! Let's try to keep it up Ponyfans!

FYI TCU is #68 in average attendance.

They had a Big 10 team and their crosstown rival in for two games, and they drew fewer fans than we did? Granted, we had a bunch of Techhies, and we brought some fans over to FW, so both numbers are a bit misleading. You'd think TCU would draw better than that, though.

My point was actually that both teams are doing well attendance-wise, although I would expect TCU to be higher with a 2-0 team.

Yes, we did have nice attendance for the Tech game. When you put 20K (or more) fans from the visiting team in your stadium, it really helps the attendance. It will be interesting to see how many we have in the stands for the SJS game. Even with it being parent's weekend, I think 15K would be a miracle.

I thought TCU's attendance for our game last weekend was somewhat dissapointing. There were probably a fair number of Frog fans that decided not to go because they knew that it would be a blow-out.

It seems to me that the reverse would be expected.

TCU fans smelling blood in the water would likely want to be in ACS for a possible thrashing of their #1 rival.

The Tech game attendance is going to be twice the number we ever get hereafter. Lossing drives fans away. After the OSU game, we will have to give tickets away. I only wish things were going to be different, but the record the last two years is not encouraging.

"SAM", can I assume you're going to stay the course & attend the home games? Or, are you planning to call it in each week?
