Woodshed whoopin'. And, for what it's worth, the last TD to make it 70 came with less than 7 min. left in the game.

I love it! But I must say, I don't understand it. Now, if TT can just lose the rest of its games...

I'll admit I was pulling for the Frogs, but the outcome still makes me giddy. You knew one of them had to lose, and that's the beauty of a game like this.

Leach may be a jerk, but you have to hand it to him, he has an offensive scheme that will flat put points on the board. And that was all done in just three quarters.

Local Coach.. I will tell you where I live and cook you a great supper just to ask you ... Why do you have such a [deleted] for SMU? WE take good young men and work to make them better. Kind of like Masons if you have a bering on that kind of stuff.
SMU IS not the best at Football but the university is looking forward to improve.
Why do you spend the time to drag something down?
I wish you the best at your job and hope that you can appreciate the hard work in front of MY university.

Yeah, now I'm really puzzled. We played a great game against Tech. Then we get annihilated by TCU who in turn gets throttled by the team we very nearly beat the week before.
Were we just that flat against TCU (I was out of town and didn't see it)? Tech probably didn't bring their best game against us, but I didn't see a huge disparity in talent. Experience issues I suppose? What gives??

You know, I came online after a a ballgame at Ford Stadium, trying to be objective and give my perceptions. Almost every single post I read was full of vitriol and filthy language about Mike Leach. Postings from fans from Tech satting that they didnt agree with Leach's actions were met with filthy language about Lubbock or character assasination of Leach or diatribes about people in West Texas. For a school like SMU, a Methodist school no less, is rediculous. Iknow, I know, it's not representative of all pony fans, but this is getting out of hand. Maybe SMU should be Division 2, who knows, but your board is filled with over the top gripes about your coach, who you praised liberally after pushing another coach after a game, and comments about how to better embarass an administrator to achieve your goals. I'm an outsider here, cuss at me all you want, but I want better for my hometown school, especially when I am sending kids there. Im not in Lubbock or Ft Worth, cant do a thing about them. Im not self righteous, but my gosh, you guys better pull together or everything at SMU athletically is going to go to pot. Witness the track program-that is so unbelievable.Well, at least in the eyes of kids who want to go there and get a college education and play ball. Sorry for ragging you all so much. It wont happen again. I only wish for the days of Chuch Hixon when, as a high schooler, I actually wanted to go here. Good luck SMU--I actually hope you do well the rest of the year and get things turned around.
