Did the TCU Coach race on to the field after the game and try to punch Leach after Texas Tech hung 70 on the Toadies?

No, but it would have been nice to see.

We can say what we want about Leach, but I wonder if Bennett's actions that first game might be haunting him & us now? The coaching circle among veteran coaches is tight (especially BCS coaches). Just a thought.

Can you think of one reasonable reason why it would matter at all what other coaches think of Bennett?
At this point the BCS is the least of our concerns.

You underestimate the friends Bennett has. #1 he's an aggie alum. #2 he coached at K-state. #3 everyone in the big 12 hates leach and oklahoma. Don't think he's going to hurt anything by his tantrum warranted or not.

Patterson said. "I do agree with (Tech coach Mike) Leach. It is my job to stop them. I'm not mad because they scored 70. I'm mad because we gave up out there."

Pay attention twerp. Last year Tech ran all over us and we didn't squawk because it was during the course of the game. This time with only seconds left in the game he was still trying to put unneeded points on the board. Yesterday after putting 70 on the board against TCU, he then put in his back up quarter back and other scrubs to finish out the fourth quarter. He didn't do that to SMU...he wasn't happy with just 27 points.

Well well. The Frogs "gave up." There's something to be mighty, mighty proud of.
SMU didn't "give up." That's why Tech didn't score 70 on us. They couldn't. Had we "given up," I'm sure Bennett would have had a similar reaction as GP.
Patterson knows he can't blame Leach. His team is, apparently, a bunch of spoiled quitters.

You're not a guest (since you did, in fact, register), you're a nuisance and a troll.
And stop defending Leach. Your argument citing Tech's behavior against TCU only serves to prove the contrary point.
That is, against SMU, Leach had his first teamers lobbing shots into the end zone late in the 4th quarter when the victory was already assured. Against TCU when the game was out of reach, Leach subbed in all scrubs by early in the 4th qtr.

Guest? You certainly have the freedom to come on this site, but if you were a "guest" at my house with the same boorish behavior you exhibit here...you would be out my front door and on your butt pronto. If you want to continue to be a guest here, then act like you would if you were a guest at someone's house. Feel free to join in the conversations...and an occassional bout of smack is even allowed and will be returned, but if you want to act like a twerp...then twerp is what you are.
