Hawaii over UTEP 66-7
Posted: Sun Oct 14, 2001 1:31 pmUTEP played a man defense that did not account for Hawaiii running. Hawaii used 7 RBs and a walk-on reserve scored 2 TDs. Hawaii even had a the 4th string QB run the option. The Hawaii defense scored 3 Tds on 3 picks. Just about every Hawaii player but Timmy Chang got on the field.
SMU looked much better against Hawaii than UTEP and that includes the coaching.
