Well, I guess my schtick of SMU never winning a game in blue helmets is over.

Congratulations to the Ponies and to the sophomores who had never won a college game.

I prefer red helmuts with white logos

It's the inflatable blue helmet. Just before time to use it, they took it down - a "no show". That's the jinx!

smudad - I think you're right! I was relieved to see them take off the inflatable helmet before the players ran out. The way it was collapsing, I was afraid we'd suffocate half the team before they could get out onto the field.

By the way, you should hear folks here (in Fort Worth) this morning after the little froggies lost to South Florida. You'd think they'd just lost to FW Paschal High. I love it.
