Turnovers?

Postby MrMustang1965 » Sun Sep 26, 2004 10:18 pm

Someone help me out...but I don't seem to recall the Mustangs fumbling or throwing an INT during the SJSU game. Did we? And did we recover a Spartan fumble or take a throw away from them? If we didn't give anything away, I'd be interested in knowing when was the last time that happened. Thanks!

Each team fumbled twice, but each time the fumbling team recovered the ball.

Thanks, Hoofprint.
So, we didn't give away anything...and that's key in winning a game! Way to go, Mustangs!

That's true, but we NEED to start generating takeaways - starting in Boise!

Interestingly, even though SMU has 11 turns with no take-aways we are now no longer the worst team in the category. Clemson has edged us out. 8)

The Boise QB is a strong runner, but he seems to swing the ball around. Maybe he could be talked into coughing it up once in a while?
