37 point dogs

So says the early line. Boise is a tough, tough place to play, but I have to think we can beat this spread if we play well. All I can say is, watching the BYU game on TV, it was hard to make out those those Broncos on the blue rug. Perhaps night-vision goggles are in order. Their secondary showed some vulnerability in that game, if nothing else.

Take the 37 points

The hadicappers give odds that will attract betters, not forecast the score of the game. With the QB changes, this is a different team. The ponies might actually try to win. Wouldn't that be a shocker!

Only if they actually succeed. I think they try every week, although sometimes its hard to tell.

Hey I am as excited as the next guy about the win - and I think it bodes well about the rest of the season - I see several potential games we will have a good shot at - but this is not one of them. Boise is almost impossible to beat at home - and we are not very good on the raod against tough competition yet. That said - 37 pts sounds like too many to give up.

We need to stay healthy and get up for Rice.

I'd love for SMU to be the team that 'breaks' the longest 'at home' winning streak in the nation.

They also have the longest winning streak in the nation not just at home...

16 game winning streak for them

Just found out that SMU vs Boise State will also be on ESPN Game Plan thingy

Come on RA, tell us the real odds

Not that I would put coin on a game bet myself, but there are others who are well informed and more expeienced than me in these matters. Come on RA, tell us how it is regarding the odds on the BSU game.

I would stay away from this game......I realize this is a lot of points....but Boise has put it on us these past two years. As folks had said earlier, they are very good at home.

Your money would be much better spent on Purdue or Ohio State this week instead of the Ponies.
