Interesting tidbit from Coach Bennett at his Monday press conference:

"One thing I like about watching them (Boise State) is they're a class team. Their players do nothing but play. They play extremely hard. You never see 'em talking much. They gain 8 yards, they go back to the huddle and they do it again. They might gain 15. I just think right now that their coaching staff, Dan (Hawkins) and his staff have done a very good job of putting that program in place right now."

We know how the Tick coach should spell his name don't we.

You know I have noticed that...

Not one time have I ever seen them talk trash or try to run up the score...Not one time have I seen their fans trying to talk smack or anything of the sort.

I still remember Coach Bennett's comments after we got thumped by Boise State last year. He said (paraphrasing) that they were a very good team, and that they did nothing unusual to try to increase the difference on the scoreboard. All he said was that it was our job to stop it, and something about how he likes Dan Hawkins, he runs a good, clean program, etc. There's a great deal of admiration and respect there.

Interesting take on the RUTS issue. We hear it all the time from other teams, especially the U of Idaaho trolls up North. Hopefully your guys don't do something stupid like San Jose State did last year. They decided it would be fun to do a little dance on the logo at midfield during pregame warm ups. I'm sure that might have had something to do with the 77-14 score that night. IF we do get way out ahead, you'll see our 2nd string QB Sanford and staff come in midway through the 3rd quarter. Heres to a good game and no injuries.
