Monday press conference newsbits

Coach Bennett said:
- Brad Kieschnick had a sprained ankle and "should" be OK.
- Chris Phillips' status has not changed.
- Lucky DeLay had a sprained ankle, but both (DeLay and Kieschnick) could be back by Wednesday.
- Tony Eckert will start at QB. "Depending on the flow of the game," Jerad Romo will come in.
- Defense has to improve. Tackling, in Coach Bennett's mind, is now where it needs to be.... "Good tacklers are people who are always in control. They've got their feet, good balance, and they wrap up - and we didn't do that."
- Rolando Humphrey is fine. Mile concussion, had his helmet hit with a knee.
- Cedrick (Dorsey, I assume) had a slight thigh bruise.
- Darrin Johnson aggravated his ankle sprain, but he ran full-speed Sunday. Coaches discussed "spelling" Johnson some, but when offense is moving, coaches don't want to make too many changes.
- Coach Bennett said that one of the bright spots was after Kieschnick got hurt and Bryan Turner took over at center and did "a real good job." Also mentioned Caleb Peveto and Justin Boren, adding that when that trio was in the game, the offense "didn't miss a beat. We kept going. Bryan had good snaps. He had good attention to detail, and he did a good job."
