Anyone notice that the noid/tick/abortion Mustang Maniac hasn't made an appearance this year? I guess someone realized that it is idiotic. I wonder how much money was wasted on that thing....

lets not bash them after they have made the right call - someone needs to just put in the file in giant letters - WE DO NOT NEED ANY "NEW" MASCOTS", ESPECIALLY IF THEY LOOK LIKE BAD PIZZA-MAN COSTUMES, so that future athletic dept marketing wizzes don't get over excited about someones brainstorming session.

Nice to see the support by the Rangers for the Mustangs by having their costumed mascot at the first game. I doubt you'll ever see 'Rowdy' (Cowboys uniformed mascot) at an SMU football game, though.

Why in the world would you want Rowdy to show up? He'd probably be the biggest whip...even worse than the Noid's love child.

Oh, I wouldn't want to see Rowdy show up. I guess I should have explained myself better. The chances of any type of show of support by the Cowpokes towards the Mustangs is zilch.

Yeah, but she looked a hell of a lot better than the Noid!

Of course not but that's no big surprise. Maybe Double JJ has some bitter memories towards SMU when he was playing football with the Hogs, who knows?

Isn't there a Jerry Jones banquet hall or something in the new Meadows Meusem? I always just assumed it was him and not some other random Jerry Jones. Granted it's not football support, but if it is him, you can't say he isn't giving at least a little bit to the university.

He shook my hand and told me he was proud of me at law school graduation. I thought that was nice.

The only museum that Jerry Jones would be familiar with is one that displays different kinds of beer cans. I hope that the Jerry Jones connected with the Meadows Museum is another one...just like the Gerald Ford who gave the $$$ for the football stadium is not one in the same as the former vice-president.
