OT: Texas State Fair Classic
Posted: Thu Sep 30, 2004 5:17 pmDoes anyone know how to get tickets for the Grambling St, Prairie View A & M game this weekend? I was thinking about stopping by and checking out the halftime show.
I think the game tickets are 20-some-odd dollars, but I found out there's a battle of the high school bands on Saturday morning, featuring the Grambling State band. This event is 8am - noon and tix are 10 in advance, or 12 at the gate. Tickets can be bought at any participating DISD school, if you can muster up the courage. Since you know me, ask me sometime about what I 'interrupted' when I came around a corner in a hallway today at Dallas Carter.
I dont think the game will be a sellout, so Im sure you could get tickets to that at the gate if you wanted to go. As for me, I think i'll skip the SWAC Div 1aa football and just see some awesome bands in the morning.
