Postby MrMustang1965 » Fri Oct 01, 2004 9:28 am

The SMU football team travels north to the blue turf of Boise, Idaho Saturday to take on No. 21 Boise State in a 7:05 p.m. CT game at Bronco Stadium. Saturday's contest will be SMU's first televised contest of the season as SportsWest will broadcast the game as part of its WAC package. KFWD 52 will broadcast the game locally in the Metroplex. The game will also be available via ESPN's GamePlan pay-per-view package. The game can also be heard on the flagship station of SMU football, KTCK, 1310 AM, The Ticket.

The Ponies enter the game 1-3, 1-0 in conference play after defeating San Jose State last week, 36-13 at Gerald J. Ford Stadium. Boise State enters the game 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in conference play. The game will mark SMU's first ever trip to the state of Idaho for a game.

Man, that's a strangely configured stadium...the lower level seats must be at least 40 feet or more away from the field. Seeing over the heads of the team when they are standing must be a challenge.
