I will be in New Olreans from Oct 3rd through the 12th and from there I go to Baton Rouge until the 20th. I am going to be there shooting the new Disney/Jerry Bruckheimer film, Glory Road. This is the movie about the 1966 Texas Western vs. Kentucky basketball championship. I am very privelaged to be a part of this movie, but there will be some definite downtime while I am there, so I'm hoping someone could make some time for a true Mustang supporter. Just curious, how are you involved with the film? Sounds like it will be a neat experience.

After college I moved to Los Angeles for a while, where I was acting and modeling. I was very lucky out there, but I really missed working and living in Dallas. AND I REALLY MISSED THE PONIES. So, long story short, I auditioned for this movie a while back and found out I got the part last week. I will be playing the part of one of the Kentucky basketball players, hopefully Pat Riley. It is going to be an awesome story, very similar to Remebember the Titans (same producer as well!!). I will keep Ponyfans.com updated on the movie and I will try to have a private viewing of the film in Dallas when it comes out. Thanks for the interest and be on the lookout for the film sometime next summer. Just a reminder to anyone that reads this, my career is in residential real estate, I act on the side and this was an opportunity I could not pass up. GO PONIES!!

I live in Baton Rouge and graduated from SMU in the 90s...we actually have quite a few Mustangs living here and in NOLA.

Where will you be filming in Baton Rouge? I can certainly help you out on some local hangouts while you're here...of course, you will be bombarded by Tiger fans every where you go.

We are shooting the non-basketball scenes in and around NO and then we will be doing all the basketball scenes in Baton Rouge, I'm assuming the Maravich center. I am sure they will need extras to come and fill the stands, so maybe you can make some time to come on down and watch some choreographed basketball. Haha.

Rhealy: My stepdaughter is a freshman at LSU. I'm sure she and her cronies would love to know the inside scoop on being extras. I was relieved to see the content of your post, considering the other news of the day.

The bad news would be the outcome of the LSU game. With the current state of affairs on the Hilltop, I usually rely on the Tigers to lift my spirits. I'll pass along your info to my stepdaughter. She'll be excited!

I talked with the director's assistant tonight and they are DEFINITELY still looking for extras in Baton Rouge. Have your daughter email me and I will give her all the information. It should be a ton of fun!!
