From my Bronco perspective, the Mustangs that came into Boise tonight were psychologically tougher than last year's version. I was impressed that I never saw any "give up" in your boys, even when they had every right to be.
I wondered at the game what might have happened if you had abandoned the running gam, earlier, and just threw every down. You hit enough big passes as it was that a few more might have made a difference.
I think you're gonna win a couple of games here on out, and next year should be even better.
Best wishes next year in CUSA.

Great game, your boys have come a long way since last year. Stay the course and you'll do fine. Good luck in CUSA next year.

And the Bronco coach is every bit 180 degrees from our TT friend Leach. Leach would have never given a thought to throwing in the scrubs for the fourth quarter. Now the Bronco's coach is a person who understands sportsmanship. Kudos.

Yes, hats off to the Boise coach for "calling off the dogs" at the end of the third quarter. Not many coaches pull their starters out with 15 minutes left in the game with only a 24 point lead.

I'll be pulling for the Broncs to be the BCS busters that the Frogs weren't.

Agreed. From Coach Hawkins on down - and including the fans - Boise is a first-rate program. Here's hoping you roll everyone on your schedule (by a bigger score than Saturday). Good luck to BSU. I'm hoping to see the Broncos playing on New Year's Day.

Hey Mustang fans! Great game, much improved SMU team from last year! Good things will happen for SMU in the future: Good coach, great facilities, long tradition and FIRST-RATE fans!
Good luck from here on out!

Maybe Sportsmanship isn't dead after all. I really hope to see BSU keep winning and I hope that we can get them scheduled every now and then when the conferences change. I like playing opponernts that I respect.

Good point - the outcome (either way) is more enjoyable against a class school like Boise. Here's hoping BSU runs the table.

This is indeed a different team. (collegefootballnews.com said we're a team that's "playing much better than our record indicates" -- for what that's worth.) Time to show the improvement Saturday -- GO PONIES!
