I'd appreciate some input and help making my decision. I have to be in Longview until 2:30 Saturday. I have to be back by 9:30 Sunday. Now, should I drive the 215 miles down and back? Will it be a worthwhile investment? On the one hand, it's only 50 miles farther than when I had a similar situation earlier and drove to Ft. Worth. On the other hand, well, there's plenty of negatives. Thoughts?

RGV, you could fork out $9.95 and watch the game on Owl Vision since the renegade Owls are still violating the WAC ESPN contract by streaming their games.

Hwy. 59 is much easier to travel between midnight and 6 a.m. Just watch out for deer in the piney woods of East Texas. I used to travel it a lot when I lived in Longview and had a girlfriend in Houston.
BornRed&Blue and I are going to try and make the trip to Houston along with the 'Mustang twins' and former RedRaiderSweetheart (soon to be MustangSweetheart!).

I was planning on it, but I was informed a few weeks ago that I would be attending a family wedding instead.
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.

RGV - of COURSE you should go! Got to be in attendance for win number 2!
And abezontar - they'll still be married after the game. Send them a toaster or something and join us in Houston! (That'll go over well, won't it? )

I will be in Houston this weekend to watch the Astros on sat. and sun. I'm planning on going to the SMU game as well, but MLB has yet to post a start time for the 'Stros game. I'm hoping for an early game so that I can see my baseball AND my college team win on sat. I might even try to go to the Texans game on Sun. to complete the trifecta.
GO 'Stangs

Also, we are staying over night, so if any of you Houston natives know a good place to entertain ourselves after the game please chime in.
