Listening to Bennett PC, glad he pointed out the poor DE play.

He said he was pleased with Stansbury, but I thought he did a poor job of containing runs to the outside.

On the DL, Karrington gives energy, and Williams looked strong enough to hold up against the run. But Rogers is still the size of a OLB, Adami is the size of a DE, and we have two safties playing linebacker. We are going to struggle against teams with a strong OL.

Our secondary and corners really tackle well. We will do a fantastic job containing Rice on the option if we can string it out. But the fullback dive and QB off tackle worry me.

This is why I hope the stories about Kyle Griffin and how strong he is and how hard he works are true. From what we all read, I gather he has tremendous ability and heart, and never stops working. But I worry about his pure size - we clearly need to get bigger at DE.

My vote is to stick Andrew McKinney over there. He was 235-240 coming out of high school and fast - my guess is that we could push him up to 260 without sacrificing too much speed/quickness.

And we need to sign at least two more DEs and several LBs.
