Does Vegas even care who wins the SMU-Rice game? What are the odds now?

I suppose they were favored by 30 vs. SJSU?

14.5? That's a little high, isn't it? I'm not saying we should be favored or anything, but ....
Without one busted coverage that led to a late TD, we held San Jose to 6 points. Rice gave up 70. Yet Vegas doesn't think we can compete? 14.5 is a pretty big spread. Bet the Ponies.

I am surprised that SMU is a 14.5 point underdog. If I were a betting man, I would take the points this time. If the Rice secondary is not repaired, we could even steal a victory in Houston.

When you mention the Rice secondary being "repaired" .... are there injuries of note there? Or just a poor performance against SJSU?

Hmmm, I think I read on here that SJSU was a 14.5 point dog to Rice. Might be a good omen.

SMU is also a 5-1 dog to win the game outright with no points. Any thoughts on that bet?

It's foolish to bet on SMU football, but if I were to bet, I'd take SMU straight up.
