Leech & an asst. coach almost get thrown out of the game in the 2nd quarter. Why am I not surprised?

Yeah, I hate when second and third string players who haven't sniffed a field all year get out there and play football instead of rolling over and playing dead.
NU turned the ball over 6 or 7 times. What were we supposed to do, tell the backups to kneel 3 times and punt?

Not that I want to waste any more time thinking about Leech, but what did he/they do that nearly got them tossed?

Honestly man...what are you doing on this board????? The game was like 5 weeks ago against you guys. Get over it. Stop crying every time you see something bad said about Leach. Get a life. We are losers for supporting a pathetic, downhill program. You are an even bigger loser for paying attention to us.

We gave up 24 points to TT.
TCU gave up 70.
Nebraska gave up 70.
That means were much better than TCU and Nebraska (at least on defense), right?

Refs penalized TT for 'excessive celebration' after a sack. Refs didn't call out a player's number, which apparently you're now supposed to do in the NCAA. Leech and the def. coordinator got mighty p.o.'ed about it and the ref then threw a flag for 'sideline infraction' and 'unsportsmanlike conduct'. It was actually the def. coordinator who was more likely to get thrown out than Leech since he was the one yelling and screaming. Leech just kept asking the ref who the player was and never got an answer. If you read his lips, you can see he's using pretty abusive language towards the ref, too.

I actually have a soft spot for SMU. I'm marrying into an SMU family and will probably be pursuing a grad degree at SMU in a few years time.
That said, if my presence on this board is not wanted then I'll leave.
PS: Nobody that cheers for SMU is a loser. I would hope a "stang fan" would know that.
Hang around Wreck'em

The comments on this board can get caustic, so don't get put out with some full body contact in the responses. It does us some good to contend with outside perspectives and certainly stimuales interest in the board. SMU is so desperate for a winning team, the alumn might be happy to hire a coach like Leach if he could produce.
