How has Kris B. gone from preseason Doak Walker Award candidate to fifth on the depth chart? We're all smart enough to start ShanDerrick Charles after his recent performances, and Keylon Kincade has shown great promise as well. Jason Pipkins is a servicable running back, Derron Brown is supposed to be very talented. And they ALL got the ball before Briggs? I know he fumbled against Hawaii, but ShanD fumbled an option pitch against UTEP and KK has dropped a couple, too. Is Briggs a bad guy at practice? Does he have a poor work ethic? I don't think he'd hurt, because he was out there blocking on extra points, but he's fallen fast on the list of ball carriers.

I hate to say this, because I am not there, but, I hear during 2-A-Days he was 1-A-day, or less. He hasn't killed himself in practice, But I am not there so probably need to shut up! GO PONIES!!!!

Well, I've heard that he had a terrible work ethic this summer. And he hasn't been congratulating ShanD on a job well done for the past two weeks. That demonstrates how selfish and spoiled he is a player. You think he would be more supportive of the freshman. If I can remember Briggs came in this program and didn't have to work at all. He was given a spot. The same thing happened to Rodnick Phillips.

Sorry for the brainlock there, PonyFans. I was getting ready to send an e-mail to Red River Pony. Subject should have been something about Briggs....

Guys, Briggs has something like a degenerative hip problem. Cavan held him out of some practices because he felt he got overworked last year. Brigg's work ethic is fine. He was the student athlete of the month recently so you know he is not lazy.

I agree with Stangster. I think Briggs work ethic is fine and I saw him put in a fine performance again NCState. Pure power running.

I've heard/read about Briggs' hip. If that's slowed him down, that's a real shame. Had the chance to meet him last year, and he's an outstanding young man. Hope he gets cured of whatever ails him and is up and running hard in the near future.

Briggs is a great guy from what I know of him off the field. I only reported what I hear other players say about him. If his own teammates think he had it easy during the summer and didn't give 100% that says a lot. Teammates know more about each other than we can guess or assume from casual conversation.
