So much for my theory/hope that we were a young team that played much better at home. That was one of the most dismal home performances certainly in my time as an SMU fan, and undoubtedly in history. It really was that bad. The fans are beaten to submission. I saw several acquaintances and even a neighbor there, and even the most patient people have had it, its obvious.

The attendance could have been much worse in my opinion. By the mid first quarter there were actually a few butts in the stadium. Most were gone by the mid 3rd quarter.

Things can't go on like this.
