Besides Wilton McCray, how many young guys are we really playing alot? I guess Desmond Jones is playing a fair amount at backup tackle. I don't consider redshirt sophomores all that young since they are in their 3rd year in the program. Correct me if I'm wrong but I see mostly older guys on special teams such as Reynaldo Pellerin. Its a Catch 22, if we are playing the young guys more than I think, you would like to see more progress and enthusiasm. If we are not playing them, what does that say, because if McCray is taking 90% of the snaps, its not like Bennett is unwilling to play freshmen that can help.
I don't claim to have closely tracked playing time, just my impressions. But to me, its the key to having some hope for next year and the year after.

Tons of young-uns are playing. Also, in any other program redshirt sophomores WOULD be considered "young". And FYI, Pellerin is a sophomore, but that's because he played as a true freshman last year – so he's VERY young too. Not an "older guy" in any way.
Other young starters (or those playing a significant amount of snaps) include (I'm also including those who started but were injured):
Fred Turner RS frosh
Blake Warrner, true frosh last year
Devin Lowery, frosh
Wilton McCray, frosh
Chris Phillips, true frosh last year
Cory Muse, RS frosh
Jay'Mond Cleveland, true frosh last year
Brandon Jones, frosh transfer
Cedric Dorsey, RS frosh
Caleb Peveto, RS frosh
Lucky DeLay, RS frosh
Brandon Bonds, true frosh last year
Bryan Turner, true frosh last year
Ben Poynter, RS frosh
Justin Boren, RS frosh
Bobby Chase, JC transfer, but true frosh last year
Pellerin, true frosh last year
Charlie Berry, true frosh last year
Desmond Jones, true frosh last year
Also, Urbanus, Darrin Johnson and Kennedy are just sophomores but this is their first year to get any real plying time. So with the exception of Kieschnick, and the QB, that's pretty much the entire offense.
My apologies to anyone I missed.
