Keep an eye on DB Ruben Moodley of Garland.
Roster says he's 170. I say he's pushing 190.
He's fast, hits hard, and was great in high school. He'll be a star for SMU.

Wesley Medlock is supposed to be the best DB we got. He talks like it too. I think right after he signed he claimed he was going to win the Heisman.

Not so fast, my friends.
It's great to see the positive reports on Moodley and Medlock, and I hope they become major stars for the Mustangs. But wasn't Rico Harris the most highly-touted player in the class, at any position? I think I remember reading that he made a lot of first-team all-state teams.
And according to the early write-ups in the Morning News, the kid from El Paso (Rushbrook) has looked great, and may play either WR or DB. Could be this year's class of DB's turns out like last year's crop of WR's.
The most encouraging thing here is that so many DB's are getting high marks, at least in the early going. We need them to do well.

From what everyone's saying, the jewel of the class appears early on to be Rushbrook!

I think Rushbrook is going to be the jewel.
