TWO-IN-A-ROW PLEDGE

I've decided to take a page out of Houston Texans QB David Carr's book. He refused to cut his hair until the Texans won two games in a row. So...I'm not going to post on
www.ponyfans.com (football forum) again until the SMU Mustangs football team wins
TWO GAMES IN A ROW!
I will continue to support the school and the team by reading this web site on a daily basis. I will also continue to attend home games and away games, whenever possible. I will also wear the red & blue and sing the praises of SMU football of the past, present and future.
So...c'mon Mustangs! I'm putting my faith in you! Until two-in-a-row happens...I'm only watching.

I am sorry to hear that. Because at my age, that means I will probably never read another one of your post. Take care my friend!

Poor guy, he'll never make it--first time he gets googled with a story about SMU competing in the Pillsbury bake-off, he'll have that bad boy posted here so fast it'll make your head spin.
If he does stick to it, he'll be forgotten by a long shot before he gets a chance to post again.

A least MrMustang1965 is a fan of the team and SMU. And we need every one of them. I look for his next post this year.

Take a deep breath, MM65. Yell out a few curse words, if you need to, or run around the block (for 72 hours straight). Realize that the Ponies are playing for us, and that fans need to read optimism/encouragement from guys like you.

MrMustang1965 - You have a great idea here. I want to join you in your pledge not to post on this board any more until the Mustangs have won two games in a row. My heart will always be with the Ponies. But I have taken just about all of the losing I can take. And losing isn't the main thing; it's not even being competitive that hurts. So rather than being negative in my posts, I will not post at all.
Stop the bleeding

Losing two active posters is a sure sign that SMU has hit an all time low. Sometimes the posts on this board are the only thing that keeps me tied to the school. I will miss anyne who drops off the board, sunshine or rain.

Any chance we can get Johnny Rock to take up this pledge, too?
Just kidding man, you know we love you!

Sorry to see you guys go, but as a "Contrarian", I like it when "THEY" start bailin'!!!!!!!
When "THEY" start throwing up their hands, Stock markets, real estate, etc., it's about time to buy.
Well, now, it's SMU football, huh? I'm beginning to like my odds.
Two down, who's next...........

Here's hoping (key word HOPING) we see you back late in the evening on Saturday, November 6.
I'm not counting on it, but... wouldn't it be nice?
(Speaking of the Beach Boys... maybe that Brian Wilson guy can coach? He and Barry Switzer together - cheating in four part harmony. Beah Boys. Heh. I forgot, there's not sunshine on this board anymore.)
Peace out MM65... we'll miss you.
