Another Boring Saturday Morning on TV

Geez 6 Big 10 Teams and not a single Texas school and no Southern schools on TV this morning. ND and BC on at 1:30. OU is the only school playing which has any local appeal. I fully understand the logistical problems of getting CUSA in one of the few early TV windows, but isn't this a selling point that should at least be presented by CUSA in TV negotiations. I got a feeling that CUSA could actually have some pretty good ratings in the morning time slot at least in the South. The loss of the SWC has really left a void in the early Saturday time slot-if you could care less about eastern or Big 10 Football.

I'd rather see Maryland/Clemson than NW/Wisconsin and Iowa/Penn State.

Man, I thought the weekly Big 10 programming glut was just a NY phenomenon. For me, a Big 10 game is like watching two mules fight over a turnip. Holds no interest for me whatsoever. I'm surprised they would try to pull that off in the Texas market.

Speaking of games nobody cares about, I'm getting tired of seeing Rutgers on TV up here EVERY SINGLE WEEK. That's a pretty sweet local TV contract they've got, for such a perennially crappy team. Not as crappy as we have been, but still crappy nonetheless.

you mean you weren't captivated by Iowa scintillating 6-4 victory over Penn St-no TDs-I'd rather watch Basesball.
