Actually the SMU-TCU game was the Dr. Pepper Classic a few times in the 1970's. We might have been the first to "sell out".

Actually the SMU-TCU game one year was called the Jerry Lewis bowl with benefits going to Muscular Distrophy. Jerry was at the game and paraded around the Cotton Bowl in a Mustang Convertible.
