I can feel it in my bones! SMU will crush Pat Hill and Fresno State and this game will be the beginning of a new era for our program! A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step and in my estimation we've walked through 999 miles of desolation and will finally reach the promised land this weekend!

How can I be so sure? For one thing, I had a very promising job interview earlier this week. Surely, it is a sign of things looking up in my life! Also, things are going well these days between Ms. LBL and I. Since good things come in 3's, that means that SMU's success is a lock! It would really complete my life to have us on the winning track!

Buck up my friends and pay attention to Saturday's game. You'll always remember where you were when SMU finally turned it around!

I am not being negative, but with all the injuries to key players, I just don't see it happening this game. If it does, that is great and I really want number 2, but realistically I don't see it.

I will be thrilled with a moral victory, say less that 10 pt loss. That will show the improvement we keep expecting.

If any players are reading this post, please ignore the moral victory comment. Do your best, play all out, give 110% and pay attention.

Fresno scares me. They have talent (see the pounding they handed to Kansas State), and they probably feel desperate for a WAC win.

However, they also might be in panic mode. If they lose this game, all hell will break loose out there. Their fans are calling for a new QB, and they've had some injuries. Here's hoping they really clench up and suffer braincramps for a few hours Saturday night.

Yeah, I know I told you all in my first post I was a regular poster under a different name who had gotten some hostile vibes from the "powers that be" on this board, but I'm not MM1965. I'm just a man who loves his PONIES!!!!! Is that a crime?
