in this article they state UT suffering from a long drought due to a lack of a recent national championship. not that SMU can compare but UT has the recruiting, money, fan base and access to TX high school football that everyone on this board feels is so crucial

Hey I hope they suffer for another 60 years. They deserve no national championships until they return to a conference with SMU, TCU, Rice, and Houston. Now if only Kinky Freedman is elected. We could call it the Curses of Doak Walker, Bob Lily, Tommy Kramer, and Andre Ware.
