I know most are very disappointed in this year as am I. However, every gameday I get excited. And to day is no different. Regardless of the record, there is always the chance that we will win. So I will be glued to my computer to hear the game tonight. Go Ponies, pull off the upset!

With an offense that does not even average 2 TD's per game and a defense that gives up over 41 points per game it is hard to think that we have much of a chance in this game - or any game.

Its hard to imagine why we even bother waking up in the morning with such bad news sure to follow.

Well, I am with Ponyte on this. In this world, ANYTHING is possible. Each week after a horrible loss I am despondent (that means sad to a few of you readers) but then, with the next game on the horizon my hopes arise anew. I have followed the Ponies for too long now (since 1954) and travelled too many miles to give up on them.
Go Ponies!

Is it really bad news? Just quoting the facts.

I'm afraid my game day excitement has dimmed considerably. Our last road win was Nov 16, 2002.

I'm hoping Coach Bennett can reignite it for me, because I miss it. With that said, my expectations are not high.

I am looking forward to basketball.

I'm right there with ya, ponyte. Call me a masochist, but I will be listening and at least hoping the experts who have installed Fresno as 27-1/2 pt favorites have really missed this one. We've played Fresno some pretty tough games at their place so I'm cautiously optimistic that we will at least be competititive.

I know I'm excited!!!!!!!!!!! This is (hopefully) our last ever late Saturday Nite West Coast game where I have to choose between listening to the SMU game or chasing Chicks especially on Stallion's Rockin' Birthday Weekend. I have a policy that I'll listen until they get blown out. luckily the bars stay open an extra hour tonite to celebrate my Birthday.

Happy birthday. Don't expect a gift from the little ponies tonight, though. I hit the big 4-0 in a few weeks, myself.

Just remember one thing, Stallion: alcohol is a preservative.

Ponyte and Arkpony:

Guess we Arkies do not have the social options of our Dallas brothers. I too am looking forward to listening to the game and am hoping for some improvement. Hopefully we will have something to say positive tomorrow. Happy birthday Stallion. I hope you get to leave early to celebrate due to a blowout but only if the blowout is by the Ponies.

Stallion gave me a reason to drink, so I'm going to get drunk and chase after women and pretend we already won the game!

Happy birthday Stallion, it was rather shocking to me that you are not married. Normally recruiting nerds are swatting away the chicks.

I did not listen to a word of the description of this game. I watched movies with my wife.

As I posted before the game, unfortunately Coach Bennett does not have a clue and the team has died on him far greater than any Cavin team did before.

The truth is that Copeland made another very bad hire. While I am looking forward to basketball, a team sport I have loved for a long time has been virtually eliminated by Jim Copeland.

Coach Bennett, I do not fault you on your effort, you are simply not Head Coach material. Jim Copeland, please move on. You have embarassed SMU football enough. Have some pride...resign.
