I don't know about season MVP (yet), but he sure has gotten better and better. You're right - very good hands, absolutely tireless, uses his size well, and a vicious downfield blocker. Gimme three more just like him.

Part of the reason Bennett took the names off of the jerseys was because too many players were worried about being the "MVP". Given the lack of production on either side of the ball it is hard to say that anybody on the team is "Most Valuable".

I am with you PonySnob. Bennett is so suspect that he is against rewarding his best players for their performances. PLAYERS SHOULD WANT TO BE MVP. THE COMPETITION FOR THE HONOR WOULD BE GOOD. No wonder all the players want him fired.

What is Bennett thinking?

You've had sevearl good posts lately that seem to include logic, facts and some serious thought. Then you throw this in. Such an all-inclusive statement about what "all the players" want weakens the argument, and the fact that every player I've talked to sounds as if they'd do anything to win - for the coaches, as much as for themselves - makes this statement look like nothing more than another effort to stir up PonyFans.

As you might be able to tell, STAL, I'm a pretty positive backer of our Mustangs! I think it's great that you've started a thread about one of our best players! We need more threads like this and posters like you!

I have a suggestion--maybe they just shouldn't read this board if their egos are so fragile. Don't know them individually, but as a team they really suck.
