Saw the note in the Morning News about this possibility.
What do you guys think? Maybe we'd get some solid tackling, although he's be learning a new position, which also have its drawbacks .....

Frankly, I like the idea. He's faster than Don I-S, and one of the surest tacklers on the team. Am I right that he'd play on Ieremia-Stansbury's side? Or would he be taking over for McCray on the other side?
If this happens, who starts for Nnabuife in the secondary: Fitzgerald or Sturdivant?
When the LBs are replenished with more (healthy) bodies, Nnabuife needs to return to safety, where he's pretty good. But for the overall best interest of the defense, this is a good move.

If this is seen as an improvement for the last games I say heck yes. We need to do things differently where it makes sense.

This adds speed to the outside, and I hope this makes the nickel defense better (considering his history as a DB). And I'd think we'll see a bunch of nickel Saturday, since Tulsa likes to spread things out.

They're moving Nnabuife to LB to get some more spped and athleticism on the field. Joe Sturdivant will take over at safety.

I'm cool with that. Sturdivant has played much better this season than last, albeit in a limited role.

The DMN said today that in addition to Nnabuife moving from SS to OLB, Jamey Harper is moving from FS to SS, and Joey Sturdivant is starting at FS. Apparently Nnabuife must be looking pretty decent in practice, because he's starting this week (per DMN).
