Not according to braginator. Apparently everyone who consumed beers on the Blvd was underage and nobody has ever heard of bringing a cooler with their own beers.

Eckert/Romo throw for 275-plus and 2 TDs.
SMU records second defensive TD of the year.
McMurtray pops a pair of FGs.
Defense bends, doesn't break (much).
SMU 27, Tulsa 23
Go PONIES

I think Romo will play the majority of the game. Perhaps the whole game. We will abandon the spread offense and try and let him run a little more.
Romo 125 yds rushing 1 rushing TD & 2pt conversion.
Romo 180 yds passing. 2 INTS.
Romo one catch for 18.
Romo 48 yds punting.
Romo 2 tackles.
Romo sacked 4 times.
Tulsa 31 SMU 8

Attendance: 9735
SMU 5 (a FG, and a fumble out of the back of the endzone by Tulsa, that we should have recovered for a TD)
Tulsa 4 (2 snaps over the head of Mentzel in our own end zone)
Goalposts come down again, but nobody gets hurt this time.

Ponies lead the entire game and give it up in the forth quarter.
Final score:
SMU 17
TU 21
Just don't have the depth to finish off the Hurricanes.

Predictions:
Beautiful day in Dallas.
Fun times with old friends on the Boulevard.
Homecoming queen will be hot.
Ponies win, 17-13.
SirT still finds something to whine about, and tells everyone he has "inside information" about certain "assurances" - although he'll spell it "ensurances."

I predict ii will be at the game having fun with my son while he still thinks I am remotely cool, that it will be a nice day, that we will have fun win or lose (but more if we win) - and that I will do this a few dozen more years until they put me in the grave or SMU stops football - neither of which I think is going to happen anytime soon. You can all [deleted] all you want but I will NEVER stop being an SMU fan. Call it masochistic, loyal, sad, determined or whatever but it is never going to change - and we need a few thousand more to exhibit some mental toughness around here. Bellyaching makes some of you feel important in ways you do not normally achieve apparently, but the only way we can do anything about any of this is to attend, be supportive, and encourage as much change as is needed for SMU to be on an even playing field.
See you Saturday - No matter what.

You're right, there is nothing to whine about this season.

Gostangs, your my hero. I try to be that way, but I'm glad there are folks around like you. I'm also glad some people criticize, especially constuctively, nothing wrong with that. Its hard not to be frustrated, but in the end noboby promised us anything. Its not like we are owed or entitled to a good football team. My son is 8, and the Mustangs are in his blood, although I am pretty sure he has already figured out its not cool to be an SMU fan these days. And he probably doesnt think I'm cool anymore either, but at least he still plays along. I hope we win some games for the younguns and the old timers pretty soon. Guys like me just need to support it and do what we can.
