Is there anyone other than me who's concerned about KK's mindset? He's a very talented player, and a great kid (from what I hear). But how is he responding to ShanDerrick Charles being handed the keys to the offense? I hate to sound like Cavan, but I hope he keeps his head up and works so hard the coaches have no choice but to give him another shot. I'd love to see two talented backs pushing each other.

I would like to see more two back sets. One, to keep the other team's defense guessing and two, to allow a heavier back to be available to block and cover the QB's blind side on blitzes. ShanD is a great <B>running back</B>, but his 175lbs. will have a hard time blocking a 250lb. defensive end coming at full speed.

I don't think Pipkins is much bigger, but they put him in on EVERY passing play -- just to make sure the defense knows exactly what we're going to do.

Have we seen the last of Kris Briggs?

I certainly hope not. He's been a warrior for us in the past. Somebody posted awhile back about a possible hip injury. Anybody know anything about that?

Briggs seems like he'd be good in the backfield on a passing downs. We know he can catch (or at least he used to) so he'd make a decent outlet receiver, and I imagine he could jack up a blitzing safety or linbacker.

That's who I had in mind for picking up the blitz PerunaPunch...but I still think two backs in there would keep the defense honest as they would not know what to expect from us unlike current practice where the substitution tells the other team what we are going to do. As for Kris's hip, I seem to recall that it is not an injury per se, but a degenerative condition that if not banged around too much doesn't bother him very much. Therefore, they don't like to take too many chances in practice of him aggravating that hip condition.

I agree - if he has the right mindset, Kris Briggs could be a dominant blocker and receiver out of the backfield. Hope he and Keylon Kincade are able to put the team ahead of individual numbers, because it looks like the Ponies have a really nice stable of backs.

Now I worry about Keylon. Did he even dress yesterday? When ShanD went down, Derron Brown came in - I'm OK with that. But then Pipkins? And then "Tip-Toe" Briggs? Did Kincade even dress yesterda? Didn't see him on the sideline.

Coaches, do not let this kid be the next Chris Sanders/Karon Riley/Jack Brewer/Josh McCown - someone with obvious talent who gets driven out of Dallas, only to excel elsewhere. He has talent.

Good to see Keylon bounce back with such a strong game. Put the heat on the coaches, deciding between two terrific running backs. That's why they get paid, to make decisions - and what a great decision to have to make - ShanD or Keylon? Maybe some two-back sets? Keylon looked like he had a lot more power in his legs than I thought. Can he block? They'd look great back there together.

Keylon Kincade looked great! When he started running over guys, the Tulsa defense was hanging its heads. They were embarrassed because Kincade was killing them. Great job

How come ShanD got benched? Is he hurt?

Relatively minor problem....turf toe. It was bothering him and affecting his running so they gave Kincade a chance to show his stuff. It's nice having several decent backs...now if we could just get them into the game at the same time...
