Anyone have a report as to how this morning's meeting went?

Donuts=good.

Turnout was better than some. I believe this was the first breakfast after a win ever.

Everybody was pretty upbeat, especially Bennett. No real info or insight to pass along. Very uneventful. Of course, Bennett had to explain the 2-point conversion deal again.

He also explained what happened with the 2 sideline penalties. The official told them at the beginning of the game that he was going to keep their [deleted] off the field. The official set the tone at the beginning of the game with that comment.

He also explained that our assistant coach waited at least 4 seconds after the end of the play to step on the field to yell something at the linebackers, that is when the official dropped the first flag. The referee then came over and ask the sideline official if he really wanted to do that, and the sideline official responded with a yes. I would have lost it at that point too.

Phil then commented that the supervisor of WAC officials just happend to be at our game, and that he called Phil around 7:00 and apologized for the officials actions.

How'd he explain going for 2 this time?

You guys are missing the point. We won the game. Who cares about a 2 point conversion. It is easy to second guess the coaches and play armchair qb. Did coach talk about how the recruiting process was going? We need to get a good QB in here.

Who are you and what have you done with the real Johnny Rock?

Are we really still talking about the 2 pt conversion? I know its hard boys, but lets try to focus, we play a NEW game tomorrow!
