ESPN's Top 10 Plays of the Day

How SMU junior Alvin Nnabuife's two fumble recoveries for TDs - including his 95-yarder - didn't make it onto ESPN is beyond me! Here's why!

DALLAS -- Alvin Nnabuife became just the third player in NCAA history to return two fumbles for touchdowns in a game as the SMU Mustangs beat Nevada, 38-20, on Saturday, Nov. 13.

Nnabuife had the second-longest fumble return in school history with his 95-yard score on Drew Robinson's fumble in the third quarter for the game's final score. He also scored on a 17-yard return on Trevor Brackett's fumbled kickoff return for a 31-13 SMU lead. The only other players to ever return two fumbles for scores were Tyrone Carter of Minnesota against Syracuse in 1996 and Tony Driver of Notre Dame against Navy in 2000.

Some of ESPN's selections tonight weren't even close to this!

And Fox Sports Southwest's 'Hardcore Football' didn't even mention his two fumble recoveries for TD's! Just a 20 second 'mention' of the Mustangs' win over Nevada.

Pitiful.

MM1965 or Laura Bush Lover,

Wouldn't T.V. cameras have to be at the game? We should push some cable outlet to cover the games.

Sir

There were TV cameras at the game SLaT. I think it may have been ESPN's pay for view Game Plan or something like that. We had TV timeouts and all. Btw, why don't you just end this farce and fess up to being LBL? It definitely was not MM65...come clean STaL.

The game was being broadcast in Nevada.

Hope their station is better than our channel 52.

The game was part of the ESPN Game Plan package yesterday. There were definitely TV cameras up above the skyboxes and downfield. There was no reason for ESPN to not have those highlights!

And STaL: I've said it once, and I'll say it again...I'll swear on a stack of Bibles at midfield at Ford Stadium that I am not, nor have I have ever been, posting under the name Laura Bush Lover.

As PK says: Come clean. Let your conscience be your guide.

I also will swear on a mess of Bibles. I am not Laura Bush Lover.
