ESPN Radio quoted some newspaper as saying TT's Mike Leach is at the top of the Illinois AD's wish list to replace recently fired Ron Turner.
They also said that while Urban Meyer is everyone's favorite to replace Zook in Florida, don't discount the possibility of Cal's Jeff Tedford heading to Gainesville.

I don't know. Somehow I don't see The Leech's act working in the Big 10. Just a guess.

Any truth to the rumor that TT is trying to lock up Leach long-term?
Wonder what type of money it would take to get him to leave. Isn't he making over a million per?

ESPN is reporting that Stanford might fire its coach today (if it hasn't happened already).
Can you imagine Leech trying to fit in among the academic types in Palo Alto?

Yeah, somehow I have a hard time seeing Vince Gill and his mullet walking around the lovely Palo Alto campus.
