Speaking of next season - return names to jerseys?

We are no longer carrying the burden of a long losing streak and perhaps that had nothing to do with removing the names, but as a fan it is much easier to keep up with personnel changes when the names are there.

Or we could change the board and just talk about old number whatever instead of the name.

Noticed that the Aggies didn't have names on their jerseys either. Hmmm.

Coach Fran says there are no individuals on his team so the Aggies don't have names on their uniforms.

If we don't have names - they need to do a jersey number directory in the program that gives the player information, rather then the alpha that was in there - does not do much good to give you the list in alphabetical when you don't know the name to begin with.

There is a jersey number directory in the programs for this year. It's in the middle of the programs (where the staples usually are) and it was an advertisement by perotsystems. I believe it was changed for each game. I found it in the SMU v Texas Tech program. Page 47, to be exact.

No names on the back of the jerseys at the USC - Notre Dame game either.

High School recruits need to know we will have names on jerseys. Mama in the stands wants to see her baby's name. Notre Dame, A&M and USC can get away with it. By the way, Those same schools also do not change the color of the helmets either.......
Bring back the old uniforms!!

It's all about building "TEAM" CHARACTER :!: Hopefully they'll earn that PRIVLEDGE with a winning season :!: Until then we got to put extra effort in knowing who's who :D

Mom and pop ought to know who their kid is :!: NEEDING to have YOUR NAME ON YOUR JERSEY on a team such as ours is only showing YOU NEEDING to be SEEN! Let your play on the field bring you recognition,a good player will become KNOWN and RECOGNIZED :!:

You need to be more specific guys...you want the unis from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's...they were all different from each other. Even the Mustang was different at one time, and we didn't always have a mustang on the helmet. And JT, surely you don't want the same uniform of your favorite teams that brought us the DP...do you??? Personally, I really like today's uniform and helmet as you can tell from my Avatar.
