They picked the wrong year to go undefeated. With 4 other undefeated teams in the mix it really was a longshot.

Not to dig up the whole TCU/Mountain West issue but the Louisville situation is very interesting. Assume that Louisville had beat Miami in Oct and they are now sitting at 10-0. I'm fairly confident they would be ranked higher than Utah in the BCS. So that would make a 10-0 C-USA team with one big win (Miami) ranked higher than a 10-0 Mountain West team with one big win (A&M). Would a great season in the MW be that much better than a great season in C-USA for TCU? Considering the travel and a lack of familiar rivals I think this is a VERY dangerous move for TCU.

I thought the same thing. Louisville will certainly help the BE in the short term keep its BCS status.
