I really like Bruce Chambers, But I think Doug Williams would be a dynamite hire. Would love to see him in Dallas.

I will put my vote in for John Pearce. Born ans raised in Texas,Graduate East Texas State, coached HS ball in Texas won a couple of 5-A state titles here was 5-a coach of the year one of his teams was rated #2 in the nation, coached at A&M when they won three titles,Head Coach at SF Austin and his teams went to the playoffs 5 times, had winning records 5 of 7 years,His teams were in the top 25 for 5 straight years, only team in Texas that can say that.Coaching at ULCA now,the Qb's,and he still recruits Texas and I think he just got a comittment from the Lufkin Qb for UCLA.He has everthing we are looking for, success at every level, coached both sides of the ball, been with big programs, knows the ins and outs of Texas recruits and can sell the University(john could sell eyeglasses to a blind man).Tell me what more would you want in a coach.
