Still looking for the perfect Christmas present for the Saint Arnold drinker in your life? Or perhaps you're tired of buying gifts for everyone else and want to indulge yourself. Either way, we now have the perfect item from Saint Arnold's:

Win the naming rights to the newest Saint Arnold fermenter!!

It's a beautiful tank, but it needs a name. You see it as soon as you walk into the brewery. Its saintly brothers and sisters (Adrian, Brigid, Columbanus, Dorothy, Edmund, Florian, Gall, Hildegard, Idesbald, Jacobus, Lawrence and Matthew) have a new friend. After naming the tank, you can come visit it every Saturday, see what is in it each week and then enjoy its output. And by purchasing these naming rights, you'll be helping us buy even more fermenters in 2005! And you thought that only the Worthams and Hobbys could afford this type of activity.

Here are the specifics: the tank will be named St. "you fill in this blank". It cannot be a company name and cannot cause offense. Other than that, the sky is the limit. It also cannot duplicate any of our existing tank names (so if your name is Idesbald, we apologize). We will unveil the newly named tank on the Saturday, January 1 tour (yes, we will have a tour on January 1, but don't come banging on the brewery door on Saturday, December 25.)

The auction is being conducted on eBay and ends in a week next Monday morning (December 20). Here is the link:

Good luck!

Being a big brew fan and avid homebrewer (who also studied Brewing Sciences at uc davis), if I lived near Houston, I would love that!

It would be cool though if a bunch of SMU folk got together to get the naming rights, and name it as Peruna88 suggested!

Go Ponies!
