Twas the Night Before Christmas

and all across the campus,
Not a student was stirring
not even an alumnus.
When out on the Hilltop
there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from Ford Stadium
To see what was the matter.
Frantic Ponyfans said,
"Could you help us please.
We're looking for Big Uglies,
we have very big needs."
Phil and his coaches worked
the phones without stopping,
"We've not so stupid
to put off Christmas shopping."
And we heard them exclaim
as they drove out of sight
"Yes Mustangs, we promise
great recruits sign tonight."
Merry Christmas and a very Winning New Year!
