Comet was awesome with a capital A, baby! Great hands, great routes, great concentration. And he threw some great downfield blocks.
Today was Comet's best game as a Pony. Keep it up!

He played well because we passed him the ball downfield. We didnt do all of that screen bs with him. He is made to go downfield, like he did his freshman year. The OC just doesn't get it, send Comet downfield.

Go Ponies!

When someone asked Cunningham in the post-game press conference if he's happy running deep routes on the outside this year, as opposed to the crossing routes he ran last year from his slot receiver position, he wouldn't answer, probably because he didn't want to say anything negative about the coaching. But his smile was a mile wide -- you could read his answer all over his face.

For those that didn't get to see the game, in all fairness, Comet should be credited for 4 touchdowns. We should also give him credit for the long catch where he was tackled on the 2 yd. line (Cardwell subsequently scored on an end-around).

Kueck, throw the ball down field!

As my friend Psycho Mike says, "SMU would have a top-rated passing offense if they kept stats for yards gained laterally..."
