Tomey Hired at SJSU

Tuff place to win, but what a great for them. He can recruit in Texas and California and has always been a great recruiter and coach. He is 66 but still has the fire to coach. Can he pull a Mike Price????
I thought he would have been a great hire for us, but then we have Phil and his moustache for a few more years.

Tomey is a terrific coach & a super guy. I cannot begin to fathom why he took that job.
IMO, there is/was a problem @ UT between Tomey & Mack, another coach or some players. It makes no sense for him to finish his career on such a low note as SJSU Football.
With all the dominoes about to fall around LSU, perhaps Nutt ends up @ LSU, Ark then opens up or Miles leaves OkSt. (& so on, etc.) Tomey could do better within the next 30 days. It makes me wonder what's brewing in Austin??????

Tomey and the San Jose AD are good friends. Probably the only reason he considered it.
He's a damn good coach. But that job might be too much for any coach.
